A Recipe for Peace (ARFP) was established in 2004 by two former diplomats’ daughters, Mary Gwynn and Sonia Lo. The ARFP organization has several commercial activities: media production and publishing, corporate cross-cultural consulting and catering. These activities will dedicate all net proceeds to the A Recipe for Peace Foundation.

The Foundation intends to fund scholarships for young aspiring chefs from conflict areas. We hope that by bringing together pairs of young people with a common interest in cooking, we will foster a strong, grassroots peace effort and enable different cultures to find common ground through jointly developed recipes and food preparation.
