It intends to fund scholarships for two students per session – one each from two conflicting cultures – to train together.  The Foundation’s hope is that by collaborating on food preparation and recipe development, these young people will see one another as co-creators first and foremost.  The Foundation also hopes that through the publication of these young people’s recipes,  a deeper understanding of their two cultures can be disseminated and that peace can be fostered by engaging people’s attentions on their similarities rather than their differences.

The Foundation hopes that the young people who come through its training courses will find careers in the catering industry, but will also endeavour to bring the Foundation’s alumni into one of the 3 commercial areas of the group.
